I'll be using Leer's S40 and Leer's S85 models for illustration purposes. Both the S40 and S85 are available in cooler and freezer configurations. They're engineered and manufactured to be outdoors, utilizing the same top-quality materials and construction methods, thus ensuring durability, quality, and resistance, in even the harshest of climates. These unique features provide you with the freedom to optimize your revenue-generating space by strategically placing these coolers and freezers wherever you need them. And for those of you preferring indoor use, we do offer customization options tailored to meet your needs as well. Now, let's get into some more specifics. The S40 model offers just about 40 cubic feet of refrigerated space, whereas the larger S85 offers just about 85 cubic feet of refrigerated space. Both models are liftgate accessible, simplifying, unloading, and set up at your location regardless of your choice between cooler or freezer configuration. Both the S40 and the S85 models come equipped with high-performance, environmentally friendly R290 compressors. They're made from Copeland, guaranteeing outstanding refrigeration performance. The cooler's operating temperature is 38 degrees Fahrenheit, whereas the freezer's operating temperature is zero degrees Fahrenheit. Our refrigerated regions have undergone rigorous testing under various conditions. This includes varying ambient temperatures and humidity levels. These tests have proven reliability in even extreme conditions with ambient temperatures as high as 120 degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring your products stay in optimal condition. In all configurations, there are four fully compatible and adjustable shelves per door. Each is capable of supporting a maximum load of 100 pounds. Shelving can be fully removed as well. Powering these units, it's simple, they require only a single 115 volt single phase outlet. Our standard units are UL and CUL certified, meet Department of Energy Requirements and our NSF approved. Now, let's dive even deeper into the core construction attributes that make Leer's refrigerated reach-in storage units, robust, reliable, and weatherproof. These units are essentially double-layered construction, featuring a steel inner liner and a sturdy steel outer shell. Between these two layers lies a layer of foam insulation. In the ceiling and walls contain 2 1/1” of insulation while the floor has 3” of insulation. This ensures a high R-value. In other words, it minimizes heat transfer into the unit. Following the insulation process, the steel undergoes priming and painting to provide exceptional resistance to humidity, corrosion, and various weather conditions. Our units feature precision-formed, watertight lock-form seams and offset patterns, enhancing durability and longevity while giving the unit a sleek and professional appearance. Controlling the compressor is an electronic control system. It includes a digital display for operating temperatures, alarms, and defrost control adjustments. It also has additional compressor protections. The unit utilizes R290 refrigerant, which is a high-performance refrigerant and it's federal and 50 state compliant. The doors are often overlooked, but are a vital part of the unit's success, especially in outdoor units. For outdoor use, rain shields are positioned above the doors to divert water away from dripping into the door. The oversized full-length doors are inset featuring 2” of foamed in place insulation, and the rest mirrors the materials and construction of the unit itself. The doors also have a heat wire. This ensures the doors do not freeze shut, allowing you to easily open and close. The doorframe combines rigid and flexible PVC. Resulting in several important product benefits. These include improved protection against dirt and water in the field and minimized foam exposure during manufacturing. The frames meet NSF Section 7 approval. Our gaskets stand out for two main reasons. First, following the most recent redesign, the gasket profile has shown roughly an increase in insulated properties by about 37%. This is thanks to the extra air chambers and a magnetic strip that provides tighter insulation. Second, our gaskets are crafted from San Supreme, which has double the life expectancy of PVC and is specifically designed to withstand harsh outdoor climates. This significantly improves the ceiling performance and longevity of the gaskets. Lastly, around the doors perimeter, a high-impact PVC breaker strip ensures durability against wear and tear. Our spring-assisted hinges are adjustable for a lifetime of level and secure door ceilings. They also help ensure doors close, securely, reducing the risk of accidentally leaving them open. Additionally, a U bolt and hasp are included for locking. There is also an LED interior light.
