Ensure safety in your establishment with this Kidde Detect series smoke alarm. This alarm contains both a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke and an electrochemical sensor to detect carbon monoxide. Its cutting edge technology sends quicker alerts to initiate a fast response, while its enhanced sensing technology reduces false alarms typically caused by cooking. This unit emits 85 dB at 10' away to audibly alert patrons. Its modern 5" design is ideal for any facility and easily surface mounts on any wall or ceiling with the included twist-and-click mounting bracket.
This unit features self-testing alarms to ensure that it is always operation properly. Its convenient Hush feature temporarily silences nuisance alarms for 8 to 10 minutes. This alarm includes multicolor LED lights to clearly indicate the current status of your alarm. These lights shine amber, green, or red and flash in different patterns to indicate alarm mode, standby mode, and low battery or faulty conditions. This unit also audibly beeps to distinguish between the presence of smoke or carbon monoxide.
For your convenience, this alarm is interconnectable with up to 24 Kidde devices such as smoke, carbon monoxide, and heat alarms (sold separately). It conveniently beeps to remind you when the alarm must be replaced, 10 years after it's powered on. It can operate in temperatures ranging from 40 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It requires a hardwired 120V AC connection for operation, and it comes with (2) AA backup batteries to ensure operation during power outages. For reliable smoke and fire detection, this smoke alarm is the perfect choice for your establishment.
