Ensure safety in your establishment with this Kidde Detect series 20SAR hardwired interconnectable smoke alarm. This alarm uses a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke and fire. It emits 85 decibels at 10' away to audibly alert patrons. It is easy to mount on any wall or ceiling with the included twist-and-click mounting bracket. Once mounted, the alarm will immediately activate. For your convenience, this alarm is interconnectable with up to 24 Kidde devices such as smoke, carbon monoxide, and heat alarms (sold separately).
This unit features a test / reset button to easily test that it is working properly or reset the unit. The smart hush feature temporarily silences nuisance alarms for up to 8 to 10 minutes. This unit also includes a multicolor LED light that flashes differently for standby mode, alarm mode, hush mode, and memory set mode. This helps to clearly indicate the current status of your alarm. This alarm conveniently beeps to remind you when the alarm must be replaced, 10 years after it's powered on. This chirping can be temporarily silenced to provide ample time to install a replacement.
This alarm can operate in temperatures ranging from 40 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It requires a hardwired 120V AC connection for operation, and it comes with 2 AA backup batteries. These batteries ensures that the smoke alarm will still work during power outages. For reliable smoke and fire detection, this smoke alarm is the perfect choice for your establishment.
