Measuring just 39 1/2" x 23 5/8" x 33 1/2", this unique machine combines an ice maker and an ice bin into a single space efficient unit. The unit uses R-404a and requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.

The two springs that pull the freezing tray into place are constantly being stretched and need to be replaced. Also the front door hinge design is very poor and broke almost immediately.

If you're looking at this machine for your home, you may be reading the other reviews and think "You know, these are probably restaurant folks who are going through a lot more Ice than I am; I probably won't have the problems they do." You'd be wrong. We put this in our home bar area and despite what would be considered pretty light use (a party every month or so, and filling a cooler once a week) we've had the springs fail on us basically every 12-18 months for the past 3 years (I'm now writing this after ordering our 3rd set of replacements). I've got a solid filtering system, I descale regularly with Hoshi's own product, following their maintenance practices to the letter. Doesn't matter. Spring mechanism is trash. Makes great ice when it works. But the fact that it so reliably *doesn't* work makes me regret the purchase.

the other no ice day. Less than one year, keeping stopping making Ice, I has to unplug the machines and replug it, Sick and tire of it.
We have had constant issues with this machine starting less than a year after purchasing it. The springs stretch out and need replacement. Now the machine is totally non-functional. Company should refund our money
