This cartridge acts as a direct replacement for the original cartridge that came with your Nuova Simonelli espresso machine's filtration system. The filtration cartridge will remove the buildup and prevents the resin of ions like calcium and magnesium from the water being channeled into your machine, to ensure you are serving only clean and great-tasting espresso. Preventing these ions from building up within the machine is important because they can take a toll on the internal parts of the espresso machine. Water filtration cartridges help to eliminate unwanted contaminants like chlorine taste and odor from your water, ensuring a clean and great-tasting product. This unit requires a 3/8" dedicated cold water line with a shut-off valve and compression fitting for operation.
