Perfect for catering and buffet applications thanks to its compact, low-profiled countertop design, this unit relies on ultra-efficient induction technology to cook food products. This process is flameless and heats only the pan and its contents, making it an incredibly safe and cool range. Plus, this particular unit is outfitted with a sensor that prevents operation unless a proper pan designed for induction use is placed on top, which helps to ensure a safe, effective cooking environment at all times. The range accepts any induction-safe pan with a diameter between 4" and 13".
An adaptive control knob adjusts to user input, from slow turns that offer precise control to fast turns that can span the full range in a single twist! It combines with impressive high resolution display technology and a mode that allows you to preset programs for consistent cooking cycles to provide maximum precision over time (30 seconds to 10 hours) and temperature (Fahrenheit or Celsius in 1 degree increments). It can also operate using a simpler power level system, which is adjustable from 1-100. The built-in USB port allows easy access to technological updates, keeping you up-to-date on relevant innovations. At the end of the day or event, the unit is simple to wipe down thanks to its stainless steel top housing, black bottom housing, and a glass ceramic cooking surface. The unit requires a 120V electrical connection for operation.
