Globe S13A Details
Powerfully slice through cuts of meat with the Globe S13A 13" heavy-duty automatic meat slicer! Designed with anodized aluminum, the unit features a 13" German steel knife with a hardened edge, which is engineered to create 2 cut lengths at 1 of 2 selectable speeds. Tilted at a 50 degree angle, the carriage feeds the meat down towards the blade, making the cutting process both safe and efficient. Thanks to the 13" tall carriage, the slicer accommodates products up to 13 3/4" high, 8" in diameter, and 11" wide. This makes the unit perfect for cutting large products, including bacon, prosciutto, and mortadella.
For intuitive operation, the unit features a graphic interface with an LCD display. The technology supports operator messages, diagnostics, and basic information about the system. It's also easy to read and monitor.
For safety, the slicer includes a carriage tilt interlock, protecting the blade when the carriage is tilted; it also prevents operation of the slicer. In addition, the knife must be used with the knife cover, or else the unit will not operate. In the case of a power outage or disruption, the slicer is designed to not restart operation when power is restored. To help simplify the machine's maintenance, it's equipped with a lift lever and a removable knife sharpening system, which features synthetic diamond for top performance. The unit requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.
