Garde HDHP34 Heavy-Duty 3/4 lb. 6" Hamburger Patty Molding Press with Handle

My employees have really enjoyed using this patty press. We pat our hamburgers fresh and by hand. The Garde HDHP12 made patting out burgers easier and the patties to be more uniform. One of the issues we would have on our hand patted burgers was the time it took to pat out burgers as well as the edges and shape not being consistent. If the edges were "scraggly" and too thin, it would get burned on the grill. This patty press has simplified and made patty making more efficient. I love it!

Has held up for years. Our Patty's are always uniform, can do a full hotel pan in about 15 minutes. Super easy to clean. Comes apart.

Great product, very well made, heavy duty, stay in place when using, easy to use and makes 1/3 lb. & 1/2 lb patties with ease.

Purchased this product early March 2020. Use it every day. First month worked pretty good. Would stick occasionally when patty would start to come up. Over the last month arm sticks and jams constantly, patty will not come up and the handle is stripped and will not stay on stem. Went from loving the product to looking for help to get replaced ASAP.

The kitchen crew is very happy with this. It's very easy to use and easy to clean. Has cut the time it takes to make patties in half and has paid for itself. Hate that we didn't purchase this sooner.

We were really excited to get into pressing our own patties with this patty press. Right out of the box the product was in good working condition. After about a week or two the handle stripped off and fell apart. So instead of returning the unit because we needed it, we were able to fix up our own handle. The press worked in this condition for 4-5 months without many issues and a lot of pressing (roughly 240 burgers a day). Until now, the unit is not is working condition and the handle is not functioning and the press in not moving. We contacted Webstaurant and they are sending a new unit after verifying with us that it was not in working condition. Using minimal pressure to press the patty, while raising the handle the gears inside slip and the only way to get your burger back up is to bring handle back down until your hear the click and then bring back up. Sometimes this has to be done several times just to retrieve 1 burger. I would not recommend.

handle fell off within a week. quality control needs improvement badly.

When we press burgers, some pf the meat slides up and over the bottom, but was better than hand pressing. this press worked well enough for around 6 months. The arm began slipping until it finally stopped altogether. Would only recommend for very light home use.

The hamburger patty press works well and gets the job done. However, in our fast-paced kitchen where we served hundreds of college students each meal, we found it to be quicker and easier to simply form patties by hand. However, that does not mean the press is not quality and useful. If your kitchen does not need to make hundreds of patties at a time, it will be a great tool for you.

This product arrived disfunctional so i guess there is no final check in place. it looks sturdy good machine but we could not get to use it. the pin on the side that releases the patty tray seems jammed or dislocated so that means this product can go in anytime!! i dont see it dependable for burger or fast food place. you would need to get more heavy dutier than this.

This item was touchy right off the bat, sometimes when pulling the lever and pushing it back the burger would not come back up. 6 months later that is the case all the time. We are able to figure out there is a cheap spring inside not allowing it to function properly. Having trouble finding a new spring to fix it, otherwise would be a great product.

The screw on thr green handle is too short, it comes out soon and can not be fixed anymore

Didn’t even last 2 months! Spring that pushes the plate up in flimsy! How can I get more springs for this unit? Should I return it? This is the second one this problem happened with.

It was working fine for a month but then the handle came off. I’m not able to put it back on anymore because the screw is too small.

The spring that makes the plate go up and down broke within 6 mos of using this product. Very cheaply made.

Great product! Great price! Best patty press ever! Makes my life so much better! I make home made burgers just about everyday n it saves me so much time and helps cut down on me making burgers to big. They come out perfect ever time.

Press works great, but the handle on it lasted for about 1 week before the threads stripped and the handle fell off. There doesn't appear to be any way to repair it, so, you have to use it without the green handle and that makes it a little more difficult to use.

This product is amazing, its heavy duty very very high quality,very easy and friendly to use i have used it for burger patties, however u can use it for chicken patties and felafels, its simple to wash and doesn't take a lot of space and also the handle was simple to maneuver,over all i give it excellent.

Purchased this unit six months ago and it worked well until it didn't... Seems like the gears stripped out inside the unit. Worthless now!

My shift manager wanted me to order this to see if it be easier to press at our meet. It worked perfect but they’ve already broke the handle on it and it’s only been used probably three weeks.

This press is solid, easy to use, and easy to clean. We use this both for retail sales and for kitchen prep. We are very satisfied.

Sometimes this has to be done 4 or 5 times just to retrieve 1 burger. At this point I would not recommend.

Awesome product. Looks to be built strong. We will be making many burgers and this will certainly make the job easier. Less work equals more time for sales.

Perfect press. The 5" size makes the patty large enough to fit all sizes of buns. You can vary meat quantity to fit your requirements and end up with a very consistent product.

Really good and sturdy product. I does an excellent job with my burgers, my only complain is that the handle comes off sometimes, but you just need to put it back again and it works perfect.

The heavy duty is a necessity to our restaurant. It feels sturdy and very reliable. The product is long lasting and has yet to break down. Good product, can be a little heavy for some workers.

After reading reviews I was in love with the Garde 1/4 pound hamburger press. After using it I do love it but maybe not in love. It works great and that’s why I have it 5 stars. You need to keep a clean hand to scoop and press but that’s is expected. The only issues is the press does make a bit of a mess as you lift the handle. But overall it’s the best of the presses I’ve used.

Great press, very easy to clean. We make six ounce patties with this that come off nice like a smash burger. Plunger comes out to make for easy clean up.

Great burger press. Works exactly as described. Makes uniform patties every time. The only bad thing is the slide lever doesn’t line up the patty maker every single time.

Great burger press that is easy to use and very easy to learn. We’ve bough different presses over the years but this one is the most durable, easiest to clean, and most time efficient.
