Galaxy IMBL9 9" Light-Duty Variable Speed Immersion Blender - 2/5 HP

LOVE this Immersion blender. It’s definitely a HUGE step up from my kitchen aid 5” blender. Handles like a pro! A bit on the heavy side, & is very long. I had to move to a slighter shorter table to blend comfortably!!!. But I luv that you only have to push 1 button to get it started.,& that the shaft is removable for easy cleaning. POWER? - it’s a BEAST emulsifying 13-20qts of cold process soap. Soooo glad I purchased this baby!!!

I’m giving 2 stars only because the price gor this product is very low compares to other blenders. I have this one replaced once, both blenders has wires broken within 3 months since we had them delivered. I’ll try something else this time, hopefully is going to last longer

On first use blending soup, there was a burning smell. This just didn't have the power to break down a thicker soup. Very disappointed that Webstaurant wouldn't offer a refund or help submit a warranty claim because I apparently used the blender improperly. Based on other reviews, I thought this would work for our needs, but I found a different blender that blows this one away.

First time buying this brand of immersion blender. Was pleased with it's performance on the prep items we use this for. It gets frequent, daily use and has held up really well. The detachable blade part was very helpful with washing.

This is light duty. Fine for mixing dressings, but will bog down if you are trying to mix a thicker item.

After only a few months of use in a commercial kitchen, this thing is as good as junk. DO NOT BUY!!! Go with the Warren brand, they are expensive but last 1000x longer.

It only last around 9 months. The gear is made out of plastic thats why it didn't lt long

Worked for nearly a year. The motor works fine but the arm won't turn.

I must agree and advise, do yourself a favor and resist the "cheap" price. Read reviews and be informed. This unit burned up after less than a few dozen uses. Feels great. Looks great. However, not great. I personally feel the company could have a great product based on their response to users, such as myself. Go back to the internal components of the unit and industrialize them to industry standards! Then, send one to each of us who took time to tell you about your product, and let us review your customer care efforts and your product! Cheers!

This unit was great for about 5 months before it stopped working. We used it to make one salad dressing a couple times a week, so ran it for 10 min tops every week. We ended up getting a replacement sent out since it has a 6 month warranty.

Lasted 186 days and probably only used it 20 times total before it stopped working. Warranty was only for 6 months, 4 days short of when I made the claim. Very poor quality brand, would never purchase anything from this brand again.

Liked: * it was powerful. * It was easy to clean * Dial was easy to use. Dislike: * It broke before 9 months of use * It slowly started to make awful sounds by month 6 * It don't work no more * The wire hanger, metal contraption it shipped with doesn't make sense how to install it or anchor it. Overall opinion: Would not purchase again.

Two Months of light duty use, we use it maybe three time a week to blend a cream sauce and a tomato sauce, went to use it today and its dead. I would recommend spending the extra 100 dollars and getting any other brand.

Upgraded to this product from a decade old residential mixer and lasted less than 6 months. Motor burned up just like all the other reviews...crappy product should be pulled after this many bad reviews all the same...

Had the same problem as most of the other reviewers. We only use this item to blend mayo based sauces (buffalo sauce, ranch, etc) and it gave out after only a few weeks. Do yourself a favor and pass on this item.

About to purchase our 4th one of these in 4 years. They are trash. We only use them to mix donut glaze and they burn out regularly. If I intended to be in business longer than the end of the year, I would try a heavier-duty model. But, with only 4 months left in my lease, I am just hoping that this next one makes it through to the end.

Broke with minimal use, huge waste of money

For a commercial immersion blender, we are very disappointed. We use this once a week for a very light task (blending a simple syrup with fruit in it) and its motor has already failed after less than a year. I have a kitchen aid immersion blender at home that i've had for years and used for much bigger tasks. Do not buy this.

Wonderful until the blade locked up, not sure what went wrong. Not worth the purchase...

I run a small production kitchen. I have needed to buy 2 of these in the last few months and they both broke with regular use. This immersion blender can not withstand a commercial kitchen, DO NOT BUY.

Had this immersion blender for a little over a year and the motor stopped working at our bakery/cafe. Poor quality. I should not have to purchase a warranty to ensure a product will be covered. It should just work…at least a few years.

I use Webstaurant a lot for restaurant supplies and equipment, and am very happy with 99% of the products. This product is not dependable. We only use this blender to mix a could of handmade dressings, maybe 3 minutes a time 4 times a week. It is very lightly used. The first one we ordered worked for about 3 months. When it works, it's awesome! I honestly really liked it. We usually have purchased home models because we barely use them, but figured we'd give this a shot. If it worked for even a year, it would be amazing. But, we just received our replacement unit today since our first one was under warranty. Within 5 seconds, it smoked and stopped working. I'm just wondering what may be going on in the assembly process that doesn't make this a bit more robust.

Broke within first month - the plastic spinning part where you connect the metal blender stick to stripped. Was expecting better from a commercial unit. We only used it a handful of times total during that month.

This item is great for my needs and very competitive price

This stick blender makes it easy to make large batches of crepe batter on our food truck. It's really easy to use, and easy clean up.

I use this typically on soups and have been happy with how it has worked so far. It's not quite as powerful as I had anticipated & can take a little longer to cream soups but it still works well for my limited use.

This blender is super powerful and really gets the job done. We love this one. We’ve bought other blenders but nothing compares to this one. Definitely recommend.

For home this is a superb sturdy machine. Love it. It's a bull. It replaces a good KitcheAid hand blender (home use) and I love it.

I love this product is easy to use, and blend pretty well. This is my first time I buy one of this and I would buy it again.

We purchased this to make soups and sauces. We just recieved it and made one of our favorites Potato and leek soup. Wow the smoothest ever. Super easy to clean up afterward and love the wall mount to hang it on when we're finished using it.
