The Steelton 18" x 24" NSF Chrome 5-Shelf Kit with 72" Posts is ideal for what I wanted to fit into my 22ft × 6ft × 9inc kitchen. There was a special slot waiting for this piece. A great and sturdy unit for storing my takeaway cups, plates, boxes and also condiments. Great item at a great price.

Very sturdy and easy to assemble. It came with an extra shelf holder (also can be purchased in case you break them). I am using it in my pantry and it has plenty of room for everything my family of four needs. I will be buying another for another wall of the pantry room.

First time moving these and the casters and the connection to the posts are popping loose. Just over 500 lbs and they are falling apart. Very poor design and poor quality.

We've had two of these for our restaurant and both have had wheel/casters fail where they anchor in the post. We did not overload these shelves and only move them a couple times a week. Would never purchase again.

Absolutely an awesome chrome shelf to put all my things on. Is adjustable can be tall shelves can be short shelves. Installation was simple took me about 29 minutes to put together. I would recommend this shelf to everyone that wants to make the most of any room. Lots of stuff can be put in this chrome shelve and heavy things too.

We have bought 8 of these racks. They all came packaged well, were easy to assemble, are attractive and substantially built. We are using them to store totes of fabric, Christmas, reloading supplies and cookware on. We have one that is used to store items in a pantry and one that we have as an organizer in a closet.

In general, this unit was easy to assemble but the friction-wedge shelf support design does not provide a rigid structure. As a result, the assembled unit "shakes" a bit. I am using it as a pantry shelf for grocery items, paper towels, etc. I would hesitate to fill it with heavy items but it would be fine for towels, linens and similar household items. The major advantage is that it did not require me to mount shelves in the pantry closet space, next to a water heater. Attaching the support posts to the wall with brackets would add considerably to the "stiffness" of the unit. The posts are heavy tubular steel, and quite sturdy. Steelton doesn't number their posts, which is not nearly as convenient as posts that ARE numbered. but their clips have a line that help you line up your clips, which is convenient. If you don't need casters, i recommend "Regency 18" x 48" x 74"" which is currently $ and has much sturdier metal and can hold twice as much weight. You can pretty much bend the center of the shelves with little to medium effort. 3 stars for a lower bang for your buck.

Nice large wire rack at a good price. Perfect upgrade for my storage closet. Was shipped quickly.

Sadly I can't give this a good review this time around. There was a manufacturing defect on one of the corner brackets on 3 of the 5 shelves in the 18"x60"x72" kit I received - there was a blob of epoxy in one of the corner brackets that slides over the pole. It wasn't immediately clear what the issue was resulting in wasted time. Once we realized the cause of the problem we were able to correct by filing down the excess epoxy paint after which the corner of the shelf locked in tightly. I hope that Steelton reviews their quality control b/c otherwise these shelves are very good value. (I have purchased the same exact unit about one year ago previously that did not have the issue I detailed here).

I needed shelves in a closet. Instead of making them out of wood, I found the perfect size with the NSF Chrome shelf kit. Very well made, easy to assembly will definitely purchase again.
