To use, start by cutting the foil under the lip of the bottle using the "Smart-Kut" foil cutter wheels on the back of the handle. Then insert the open-spiral worm into the cork and turn to secure the corkscrew. Place the first, smaller boot lever notch on the lip of the bottle, hold it in place, and lever the handle to pull the cork about halfway out of the bottle. Move the second boot lever notch to the lip of the bottle and pull the cork the rest of the way out.

This is my corkscrew of choice while I’m at work. I have power and control with the two stage cork lift. I can also easily open bottles while the corkscrew is folded. The “pizza style” cutter is different, but effective! One of the wheels did fall off, but I only used one in the first place so I didn’t even notice. I highly recommend!

The Franmara 5411 Stainless Steel Waiter's Corkscrew with Foil Cutter is a great corkscrew. The foil cutter makes taking the wrapping off of wine bottles a breeze. The corkscrew itself has a great two stage lever system requiring minimum effort and force to lever the corkscrew out of the bottle. We at Grains and Taps highly recommend this corkscrew to those with wine uncorking needs.
Was a great corkscrew for a couple of weeks. The pin holding the corkscrew started to come out. I managed to get it back in place and superglued it. No luck, but was given a store credit as soon as i notified them. Now on the search for a replacement.

Great basic wine opener for events! The stainless steel has a nicer look to and so you don't have to open bottles in the back. Great price too!
So a wine opener is a wine opener. But this one is fun and looks really nice if your opening a bottle at the table. It has the cutter on it which is nice.
