Easily produce up to 425 lb. of Chewblet ice with this Follett Maestro Plus 414 series air-cooled undercounter ice machine. Chewblet ice is a great on-demand ice configuration that's not only easy to chew and slow to melt, but displaces more liquid than cube ice. This self-contained ice machine uses eco-friendly R-290 refrigerant and 40% less water and 25% less energy than comparable cube machines. Its compact, undercounter design fits under standard counters, making it perfect for facilities with limited space.
To keep your unit running at peak performance, it features a semi-automatic cleaning cycle, helping to reduce maintenance costs. Regular flushing is recommended to remove any impurities that might otherwise taint the water quality or safety. The 75 lb. storage bin and shroud can be removed for easy service and maintenance. Plus, no rear clearance is required to connect this unit to plumbing or electrical thanks to the rear utility access. This front-ventilated unit also eliminates the need for a side clearance.
A high demand for ice can mean that the machine is kept running for hours on end, so durability is of utmost importance. This unit features a stainless steel evaporator, auger, and top bearing. The roller bearing is oversized and heavy-duty, promoting maximum longevity while minimizing maintenance tasks. The legs include Teflon® glides to protect your floors as you slide the unit into place. The machine requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.
