Yes, this Estella pasta machine can be used solely for extrusion. Prepare the dough in a planetary mixer and transfer it to the pasta machine. The dough should be loose and granular, not a compact mass. Once the dough is ready, mix it briefly, perform an initial extrusion using the plastic die to clear any residue from the extrusion duct, and then proceed with extrusion using the bronze dies.
