Learn how to sharpen the blade on your Estella meat slicer.
Unplug the slicer and carefully clean the blade with denatured alcohol to remove any grease buildup. Lift the sharpener cap and rotate it 180 degrees. Lower the cap so it fits securely onto the locator pins. Ensure the blade is positioned between the two grinders. Plug the slicer back in and press the ON button.
Press the rear button on the sharpener. The blade should now make contact with the grinders. Let the blade rotate between the grinders for 30-40 seconds to form a slight burr on the edge. Press and hold both buttons simultaneously for 3-4 seconds, then release them to finish sharpening the blade’s edge.
Turn off the machine and clean the grinders and the blade. Lift the sharpener cap and rotate it 180 degrees back to its original position. Lower the cap so it fits securely on the locator pins, ensuring it’s in the correct starting position.
