Included Bowl Guard

For an added level of safety, this mixer comes with a bowl guard. The clear plastic guard lets you see the mixing process taking place but still keeps any unwanted objects from coming into contact with the food or a moving beater. It also helps to block any splashes from the batch you are mixing. The guard has an ingredient pour spout to make it easy to add ingredients as you mix. For user convenience, the mixer can operate without the guard in place.

Estella countertop mixers can easily be programmed to help you ensure consistent results. Here’s how you do it. To start recording your actions in real time, press the yellow start/pause button to start the mixer. Next, select your speed. If you’d like to change speeds after a certain period of time, change the speed at your desired time. Estella allows you to program a pause to safely add in more ingredients. Simply hit the pause button at your desired time, lower the bowl, raise it back up, and hit the start button again. Once you're ready to stop programming, press the stop button. At this point the mixer stops recording your actions. To save this preset to one of the program buttons, hold down the programs button and one of the program number buttons until you hear a beep. Your Estella countertop mixer is now programmed and ready to run your saved actions with the push of a button!

    Unfortunately, it broke within two weeks. Something inside exploded, and the machine was banging and grinding. I used it three times mixing pudding. From my few uses, though, here is what I gathered. The control panel is nice. The machine's casing is pot metal, not aluminum or anything. You have to have the beater/whisk/dough hook in the bowl to put the bowl on the machine, and the bowl doesn't drop enough, so it's awkward holding the attachment while you try to align three connection points with limited space. The shield is held in place by three thumbscrews and is not quick disconnect. It's a pain to unscrew three screws to take it off to clean. It's a quiet machine until something breaks inside. It is low cost, but you get what you pay for in this case.

    wish i had seen this comment from 2022... i was told after using it 4 different times and it making absurdly loud grinding and popping sounds... same issue with attachments and told sorry no returning it because i used it? and it was day 35. just a whole loss or $
