This Delta Faucet Contrasta deck-mount matte black finish hands-free sensor faucet is the perfect addition to your restroom. It features a modern, upscale brass design with a 5 1/2" angular spout and an attractive matte black finish that is sure to add aesthetic appeal to your restroom. Ideal for high-traffic restrooms in hotels and restaurants, this faucet delivers a flow rate of 0.35 GPM at 60 PSI, and it comes with laminar, aerated, and MIKADO spray outlet options for versatile use. To prevent the faucet from running when not in use, it automatically turns off after 45 seconds, and the auto shut-off time is adjustable.

This faucet is equipped with innovative Proximity sensing technology that allows the entire spout to act as a sensor for user-friendly, hands-free activation. Because a sensor activates the faucet's water flow, it reduces the opportunity for germs to spread. For the utmost convenience, the sensing range is adjustable. Additionally, this faucet features an adjustable metering mode and a periodic rinse feature.

This faucet has a hardwired configuration that requires an AC filter and an open frame transformer for operation (sold separately.) The solenoid and controller are housed in a surface-mount control box, and there is a serviceable filter screen upstream of the solenoid valve. For temperature control, a thermostatic mixing valve (sold separately) is necessary. This faucet can be conveniently installed as a single-hole mount on a counter with a maximum thickness of 2 1/2". It can also be installed with a black spacer (included). Pair this faucet with a 4" cover plate (sold separately) if needed.
