Do not buy equipment from this trash company! I received a unit with a bad gas valve (a bad GAS VALVE!) and they will not honor the warranty because I did not have a "professional" install the unit. I guess having an HVAC tech on staff part time doesn't count and I should wait weeks to use new equipment whenever our local equipment company can finally send someone out for a 2 minute job. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Both of our fryers needed repair within a year of purchase, and again after the warranty expired. Also, a cheap stainless steel is used in making them, making them difficult to clean. I would not recommend this fryer.

We purchased this fryer to replace an 8 year old Advantco with similar specs, chose this one since it has an open pot, hoping to make cleaning easier. As the other reviews stated, ours also shipped with a FAULTY GAS VALVE. It did not work for several weeks as we waited on repair, first they tried the thermopile, then the high limit, and eventually the gas valve was replaced. It now works, however....it is a very VERY LOUD unit. Kitchens are already loud enough , this unit when firing adds another 90db to the mix. Should have just bought another Advantco and saved some money.
