It uses a simple manual hand crank to quickly and easily mash and puree cooked fruits and vegetables while removing pulp, skin, and seeds. For additional versatility, it includes 3 large interchangeable sieves. By simply changing out sieves, you can process ingredients of different sizes using this one simple machine.

Versatile Use

This set of 3 includes a sieve with 3 mm holes for general mashing, a sieve with 5 mm holes for stringy vegetables such as root crops and cooked lettuce, and a sieve with 8 mm holes for extra course product. Additional sizes of sieves are sold separately.

    Useless. There is a gap between the plates and the paddle so it acts more as a lame grater than a food mill. Purchased the additional 4mm plate - would have been perfect for IDDSI Level MM5 in healthcare setting. I took a chance on the budget option and it failed. I may manage to bend the paddle into position but I should not have to.
