Awful food mill. Super thin that arrived bent. I tried to assemble it but the rotary portion didn't even make contact with the disc's. The holes drilled in the disc's aren't even in the middle. Sadly- no other option was available and this item is really poor quality.

This food mill doesn't work at all. It won't even take soft canned San Marzano tomatoes through it in any of the plates. The paddle gap is too large to push even these medium soft tomatoes through it. The tomatoes simply roll around the plates without any of the pulp coming through. They just roll over the top of the plate. The only thing that gets through is the watery portion of the tomato and that's probably from the can. It must be the design of the plate and blade combination because I've seen other food mills work great to make pizza sauce.
