Yes, the food pan included with this chafer can safely be used in the oven.
Can I use different sized food pans in this chafer?
For chafers that come with a 2 1/2" deep, full-size stainless steel food pan, you may also purchase two 1/2 size or three 1/3 size pans for added serving flexibility. Whichever size food pans you decide to use, make sure you're using only 2 1/2" deep pans, as they allow the proper amount of space for water and steam.
Is this chafer dishwasher safe?
While the food pan, water pan, and cover are dishwasher safe, the chafer stand and fuel holders should be hand washed. Wash with soapy water and a microfiber cloth for best results.

We already owned several of the full size chafers with black wrought iron stands, so we were delighted to find it in the half size and to order a few. The small hooks on the back legs that hold the lid when it's not in use are very helpful and demonstrate this company's attention to detail. This chafer is perfect for smaller events or for holding sauces that are served warm and the wrought iron details provide just enough of that rustic chic feel to elevate our pork from pit to party!
