Thai Black Milk Tea (Hot or Cold) (makes [2] 16 fl. oz. servings)
1 tbsp. ChaTraMue loose leaf Thai black milk tea
33 oz. boiling water
100 g creamer
100-200 g sugar or condensed milk
Steep the tea in boiling water for 3-5 minutes, then drain with a strainer. Stir in creamer and sugar or condensed milk to your prepared tea. Serve hot or pour over ice for cold milk tea.

This oolong black tea is only partially oxidized, so it does not have as strong or bitter as typical black teas. At the same time, it does have all the rich dark flavors that black tea lovers enjoy. These features, make this tea from Bossen a good introduction to black tea for those who aren't used to the strong flavors, but regular black tea drinkers will like it too. A true crowd pleaser!

This tea has a strong earthy flavor, I would almost say it has a smokey flavor. I was surprised though that when brewed, the color is so light...I guess I expected a Dark Roast tea to produce a darker colored tea. This is a huge bag of tea leaves (which would take me years to finish) and the price is good for so much tea.
