CaterGator 5 Gallon Red Insulated Beverage Dispenser

I’ve only used this for hot beverages but it has absolutely exceeded my expectations. We filled it with boiling water for everyone to use with their powdered beverage of choice (hot chocolate, hot cider, instant coffee, etc.). Afterward, we had about half the contents left and let it sit overnight to be dealt with in the morning since it was just water. When I finally dumped it nearly 12 hours after first filling it, it was still so hot it burned my hand. I grabbed a nearby food thermometer and it clocked in at 137 degrees. 12 hours later. 12 HOURS later. Keeps hot beverages hot for a long time. The spout is great - just a little bit of dripping after a pour, but that is to be expected. Very easy to clean and very lightweight.

We ordered 4 of these units, and on delivery 3 out of 4 leaked. Upon inspection 2 of the 3 leaking units had cross threaded spouts that were essentially unfixable. After tightening and replacing spouts we were able to make 3 of 4 usable. By the next time we used the dispensers all three were leaking again. After using both Cambro and CaterGator dispensers, I wouldn't recommend CaterGator to anyone.

Unfortunately this product broke within minutes of the first usage. I am very disappointed and now I 4 days past return window so I would say, SAVE YOUR MONEY….don’t buy this one.

This CaterGator is perfect for our coffee shop. We use it for catering and have put hot and cold items in it. Works like a charm. Keeps our drip coffee hot for hours and cold beverages chilled for hours also. The neat part is one person can lift this when it is filled and since I set up by myself sometimes, it is nice that one employee can transport it.

We were really disappointed at the quality of this. It leaks horribly and we have to order a new one. Don't Recommend this drink dispenser. Carlisle is also a junk brand. Cambro is the way to go if you need a dripless beverage dispenser!

For the price they will get the job done. Be careful pins in the lid lock hinges have a tendency to come out and lids can become loose spilling your beverage in transport.

We bought two of these CaterGator insulated beverage dispensers. They have worked really well for our off-site catering needs. Printed labels (e.g., water, tea) are also provided with each item.

Purchased 2 of these units and the threading on the spicket does not allow the spicket to tighten fully. Leaks continuously. Cheaply made. Buy a different product!

After 4 months, the spigot broke loose during my restaurant service spilling gallons of water on the floor. The thread and locking mechanism on the spigot failed and is unable to lock the spigot on again. Would not buy this again.

I have had these for many years with no quality problems. Unfortunately they don't leave enough room to dispense into anything larger than a 12oz cup without tipping the cup. And you cannot move the dispenser far enough off the table to achieve more room at the legs are inline, if not further out, than the spout.

We've purchased two CaterGator insulated beverage dispensers, and they’ve been excellent for our off-site catering needs. Each unit comes with printed labels like “water, coffee and tea," which is a thoughtful touch. We’ve used them multiple times for iced coffee, and they keep it perfectly cold. Surprisingly lightweight even when full—highly recommended.

These are excellent drink dispensers. We purchased 4. They definitely hold the drinks at the same temperature as when you filled it. Only two complaints #1. The sticker labels don't stay on the dispenser but I made my own and hang them on the handles with zip ties. #2. The legs are too short to get a 16oz cup under the spout. I solved this by setting the dispenser on bed risers. I would purchase again.

These are amazing. We've used them multiiple times for hot cocoa and it keeps it piping hot!

I've bought this a while back but I finally found time to write this review. The equipment is light and can be carry (empty) by one person. The material is hard, so it can hold a drop for sure. If I need to get a second one, I would buy the same product.

Great quality but with one drawback, faucet breaks easily

One of the best purchases made! This dispenser may be large, but it does an awesome job, when catering tea bars during hot months in the south & keeping those beverages nice and cold.

I love this product! I currently have 5 of these. It's great for my catering business because I can make cold drinks with ice hours before I go to an event and I don't need to haul separate ice with me. I also love that you don't have to place it on the edge of the table because it has a raised spout placement. I recommend using 9 oz glasses with these. It's also great for kids birthday parties!

This has been a great addition for those times you get a local order for bigger volume of coffee. Saves money not using to go containers and keeps coffee hotter longer.

Great size in a Insulated Beverage Dispenser but shipping weight is expensive Prices are great for this product and they usually have it in stock.

The CaterGator leaked around the faucet when we received it. Upon contacting customer service a new dispenser faucet was immediately sent out. The new dispenser faucet has been replaced and the CaterGator works great. We use it for serving hot cocoa, keeps the beverage hot for about 6 hours. Would recommend.

Great product. Keeps liquids very hot and very cold for extended periods of time. Quality construction too. Heavy-duty plastic! The silicone seal that attaches to the top of the dispenser breaks as the glue is a weak point for the seal.

This model is perfect and works like a charm! The handles are perfectly placed and make it easy to carry for even my small employees that don't have a ton of arm strength. It keeps my hot drinks warm with no issues for my entire event. Don't hesitate if you need something to keep a large batch of drinks warm for a long period of time!

This insulated cooler is very well built and easy to use. I use it for hot cocoa at our Christmas parade and it holds the heat very well.

So far, I have used to serve coffee and tea for 4-6 hours events. It is wonderful and a huge stress lifted off of my shoulder. I really like this brand too. I have several hot boxes from this same brand.

CaterGator is a great brand. They also make really good ice chests. This is a great insulated beverage dispenser. It keeps drinks cold for a very long time!. The plastic is very durable and can withstand constant transportation.
