This scale allows you to easily switch the unit of measurement between pounds, grams, kilograms, and ounces. For easy operation, it has a soft-touch tactile keyboard with a power, zero, tare, and unit key. It can communicate with PCR and ECR systems using pounds, kilograms, and ounces only. Its display clearly shows when the weight is stable, the scale is zeroed, the battery level is low, or if the displayed weight is a net weight.

This scale's compact construction fits on any countertop, while its stainless steel platter is easy to clean. It has an operating temperature of 14 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. It can be operated using (6) 9V D batteries (sold separately) or the included AC adapter. When used with batteries, it provides easy portability and up to 1,000 hours of operation. This scale's auto power-off feature helps extend the battery life. It comes complete with a full body protective cover to prevent damage.
