It features a large platter for bulk weighing, and its dual-range design can weigh items up to 60 lb. It includes backlit LCD displays on both sides, providing visibility for both the operator and customer. Each display shows weight, unit price, and total price. Both the keyboard and display can be tilted for better visibility.

This scale is easy to use with 24 direct PLUs and 176 indirect PLUs. Its simple keyboard has keys such as power, zero, tare, and unit. The unit key makes it easy to switch between pounds and kilograms. There is also an ADD button to add up several sales transactions and a total button to check the total sales amount or finalize the transaction. Its display clearly shows when the weight is stable, the scale is zeroed, the battery level is low, or if the displayed weight is a net weight.

This unit can be paired with a DEP-50 receipt printer or a DLP-50 label printer (both sold separately) to enhance its functionality. It also has an RS-232C interface to connect to a PC or printer. This scale operates using the included rechargeable battery. This battery provides up to 200 hours of use when the backlight is off. It is easy to recharge in just 12 hours using the included AC adapter. This scale's auto power-off function helps prolong the battery life.
