Carnival King Crepe Mix 5 lb. Bag - 6/Case

This waffle mix by itself does not have much flavor. If purchased adding vanilla extract or such will help add some flavor. If you intend on the sweet taste of a waffle this mix by itself is not satisfactory.

It's ok. You can add some cinnamon and vanilla to give it something extra it needs. It's not bad for the price. For a small amount we only use 2 cups to make 8 waffles.

I'd highly recommend this. I think it tastes great, and the texture is exactly what you'd expect in a crepe. Why mess with milk, eggs, flour, etc. when you can just mix this with water. If you're not a fancy french creperie and using it for concessions, or an add on to your breakfast or dessert menu, this is definitely the way to go. The price is fantastic too, we have been getting about 40 large crepes per bag, so figure that's less than 25 cents per crepe.

Ordered the crepe mix to be sold at local fair, it is easy and convenient to mix the batter but the taste is not that great.

Despite following the instructions, the flour has a citric flavor that cannot be fixed by adding anything ( like vanilla ) . Not recommended if you want to do savory crepes! It

Overall I thought the crepe batter was just "ok". It tasted kind of generic and rubbery... I prefer our home made crepe batter but this would definitely be a time saver (and a cleanup saver) by simply having to add water to the batter mix. I guess if I was in a time crunch, this stuff would do the trick. Also, I had to modify the recipe on the bag because the amount of water it recommends made our batter turn out too runny.

The carnival king Belgian waffle mix is delicious and so easy to whip up. The quality is great and the waffles turn out so fluffy.

Not the best waffle mix. ALD is my preferred waffle mix.

This crepe mix is so easy to use for our farmers market business. The results are consistent and good quality crepes. Just add water!

The Carnival waffle mix is one of my favorites to use. The ease of mixing this as needed. Shelf stable. And the smell and flavor draw guests to our waffle stand. I just wish they made a chocolate and other flavors like some companies due.

The best waffle mix. Every year we have a waffle bar as part of our breakfast with Santa and these waffles are on instant hit.

The Belgian waffle mix was abundant and affordable. We also have the waffle cooker that we used to make these. We mixed green tea matcha powder in to give it a different taste.

This is extremely tasty waffle mix which is also quite easy to make and loved by everyone here,now we need to buy a better waffle maker to go with it.

I am very satisfied with my purchase of the carnival king crepe mix 5 lb bag. The crepes i made using this mix came out so good and, will be buying a case next time for sure.

This makes crepe making much simpler... and you can focus on your technique :). It is a just add water mix and you really can't tell from the finished product. Great flavor, consistency & results!

Thoroughly enjoyed using this crepe mix by carnival king. Pleasantly, surprised by how decent the crepes turned out and how easy it was to mix it all together.

Looks like I didn't receive 5 lb of product. The bag is 0.1 lb and the product is 4.89 lb, but the label states 5 lb. You only need the mix, water, a container and a mixer. I guess a hand mixer will do, but I like to use a handheld immersion blender. The taste of the mix is pleasant with a hint a citrus. If you use 6 oz ladle you probably get around 5 to 6 crepes per 1 lb of mix. Once cooked the texture is a bit chewier than a homemade version.
