Canarm ALX165-UD050EC Details
Enhance the air quality in your warehouse, office, factory, kitchen, or commercial facility with this Canarm upblast exhauster! This versatile unit works to exhaust air and provide ventilation in your establishment. Plus, the motor has up to 82% efficiency to reach your ideal speed every time. For energy-efficient use, the EC motor provides 70% energy savings compared to traditional PSC motors. The speed is easily adjustable using the onboard variable speed controls, or it can also be controlled remotely with a 0-10V potentiometer (sold separately). The onboard variable speed controls allow for simple setup and balancing with an LED display. When used with the potentiometer, it can be controlled up to 50' away, providing convenient access even when you are not near the unit.
This rugged unit mounts directly to the wall with additional wall brackets (sold separately), or it can be installed on your rooftop. For rooftop applications, a 20 3/4" opening is required. This exhauster includes a durable spun aluminum construction that does not chip, rust, or peel for long-lasting use. The 16 1/2" aluminum wheel is inclined backwards to exhaust air efficiently, and it's non-overloading to provide consistent and safe use. It boasts a 1/2 hp direct-drive motor that delivers 861 CFM to 2,595 CFM with a maximum RPM of 1,200. To easily access the motor, quick-release latches are included.
This unit requires a 115/208/240V, 1 phase electrical connection for operation. It must be hardwired; the cord and plug are not included. Please be sure to review any relevant fire codes for your area before ordering a ventilation system and understand the requirements for any equipment going under your hood, as this may change from area to area.
