I guess I wasn't overly impressed. It seemed like a quality product, but (1st disappointment) it is a sauce not a syrup like the label says, (2nd) shelf life is supposed to be 12 months but exp date gives me less than 5 and I can't use it that fast, (3rd) I like molasses but this was too much for me. One taste test and it is very nice; put it in a drink and you are ready to throw up halfway through because the molasses flavor is much too strong. It is most certainly not a good brown sugar flavor, brown sugar is not nearly that strong. So I guess it is heading home to be used in as many recipes as possible to use it up before it goes bad! I heard bbq sauce with molasses can be amazing, so who knows, might come up with something to make the disappointment worthwhile!!

This tastes much more like pancake syrup got married to a bit of brown sugar. The smell is more like molasses/pancake syrup. The gallon came broken from shipping but they did give a refund. Would be better if they were shipped in a zipper bag to prevent the mess. This is a good price if that’s the flavor you’re looking for, I was looking for more of a brown sugar/buttery flavor, so the search continues.
