Durable Construction

The sides of the unit are made of low-E double-pane glass for increased visibility. These glass panels are tempered to help retain cold air. A powder-coated black steel exterior and foamed-in-place CFC-free polyurethane insulation provide structural integrity while 6" adjustable legs allow the unit to stand straight and tall on uneven ground. It requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.

Easy-To-Clean

This unit's design also ensures minimal maintenance with an easy-to-clean painted steel interior and an automatic defrost. The condenser slides out for easy service, too.

Energy-Saving

For energy savings, it comes standard with a night curtain. Simply lower it during off-hours to maintain temperatures more efficiently, trapping cold air inside the display area.

Powerful Design

The refrigeration system, with (2) 1/3 hp compressors, also circulates eco-friendly R290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, making it an environmentally responsible choice for your business. The merchandiser's overall design maintains temperatures between 36 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Can I put warm items in my air curtain merchandiser to chill them?

This unit is intended for maintaining cold product temperatures, but not for making warm items colder. For best results, items loaded into this unit should be pre-chilled to proper serving temperatures, and ambient conditions should not exceed 75 degrees Fahrenheit / 55 percent relative humidity.

Does Beverage-Air warrant this item for use in a food truck?

This item is covered under Beverage-Air's warranty contingent upon the unit being kept in a controlled climate. This means that the interior of the food truck may not be susceptible to extreme high or low temperatures. If warranty service is required, the truck must be able to sit stationary for 24-48 hours to allow for a technician to service the equipment.

I haven’t heard of R-290, R-600a, R-513a, or R-448A refrigerant before. What is it?

R-290 (also known as high purity propane or CARE 40) and R-600a (also known as refrigerant grade Isobutane or CARE 10) are hydrocarbon refrigerants. R513a (also known as Opteon XP10) and R-448A (also known as Solstice N40) are HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) refrigerants. They are being used by some manufacturers in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program.

What does the “H” or “HC” mean in the newer Beverage-Air model numbers?

This is a representation that the unit is using a “Hydrocarbon” refrigerant. This would include both R290 and R600a refrigerants. They are being used as an eco-friendly refrigerant by Beverage-Air in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program. Can this item fit through a standard height 80" doorway ?

stay away from this fridge, after 3 months, its still doesnt work properly and the warranty guy tells me its my fault if the item doesn't work properly, please tell me why a brand new 7k fridge cannot cool down a bunch of drinks, my friend has one for 10 years with wall on the back and less room and the fridge is blasting all day no problem, so sad that I have to deal with people that now are ignoring my emails, I am only requesting a technician to come and look at the fridge again because guess what I still need to run a business. I will never buy another beverage air product ever, its as simple as that since no one is standing being it.
