The remote controlled lock automatically engages when it detects temperature / power loss, and features an LED indicator to show its status. The conveniently located bottom mounted compressor is also easy to access for quick service.

This particular freezer model uses a robust 3/4 hp refrigeration system, which circulates eco-friendly R-290 refrigerant. R-290 is a specialized refrigerant with an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. This is not only kind to the environment, it also keeps temperatures at or below 0 degrees Fahrenheit. It requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.
