Convenient Door Design

This unit features a solid stainless steel door with door locks for extra food safety and security. The spring loaded hinges ensure that the door closes properly even when you have your hands full. If you are taking several loads to or from this unit, you can also override the self-closing system by opening the door 120 degrees so that it stays open until you manually close it.

For superior visibility, bright, LED lighting illuminates the interior so that your staff can easily see and select the ingredients they need.

100° Ambient Temperature

This unit is rated to perform in 100° ambient temperatures, making it the perfect freezer for hotter kitchens and other warm environments.

Ample Storage

The interior of this unit features 21.17 cu. ft. of cold storage and has 3 heavy-duty epoxy coated wire shelves for safe, sanitary storage. Each shelf comes with four shelf clips that must be field installed. The shelves are also adjustable in 1/2" increments.

Reliable Refrigeration System

In order to last longer, this powerful 1/3 hp refrigeration system has an epoxy coated evaporator that resists corrosion. It utilizes eco-friendly R290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, making it an environmentally-responsible choice for your business. An automatic condensate evaporation system also makes this unit more energy efficient. And because it is designed with a 1-piece grill, it's easy to access the refrigeration system for routine maintenance and repairs.

Does Beverage-Air warrant this item for use in a food truck?
This item is covered under Beverage-Air's warranty contingent upon the unit being kept in a controlled climate. This means that the interior of the food truck may not be susceptible to extreme high or low temperatures. If warranty service is required, the truck must be able to sit stationary for 24-48 hours to allow for a technician to service the equipment.
If your unit has pre-installed casters, it may be secured directly to the pallet for safe transport. To remove it safely, tilt the unit slightly to one side and use a wrench or socket set to loosen the bolts attaching it to the pallet. In some cases, you may need to pry up a pallet plank with a hammer to access the bolts or to release casters nested within the pallet base. If you are unsure or need assistance, we recommend contacting a local moving or equipment installation service for help.
R-290 (also known as high purity propane or CARE 40) and R-600a (also known as refrigerant grade Isobutane or CARE 10) are hydrocarbon refrigerants. R513a (also known as Opteon XP10) and R-448A (also known as Solstice N40) are HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) refrigerants. They are being used by some manufacturers in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program.
This is a representation that the unit is using a “Hydrocarbon” refrigerant. This would include both R290 and R600a refrigerants. They also have automatic evaporation and down duct refrigeration systems that enhance efficiency and promote even air distribution. Horizon top-mounted refrigerators are built with a 1-piece grill and an electronic control with a 1-touch defrost feature. The control panel displays the cabinet temperature and status indicators and includes a keypad for simple control. Solid Door

For the price, this does NOT function well as it said it should in their description. We have this in our kitchen and it's not efficient at cooling, hovers between 45-56 during service. Webstaurant also does not help with assisting with warranty, and Bev Air warranty line is difficult to get a hold of. I wouldn't buy.
