This scale is equipped with an LCD screen that displays weight in units of pounds, ounces, grams, and kilograms, as well as a comparison of pounds to ounces. It features a simple 4-button touch pad with buttons for power, set, tare, and unit settings. When configured to target a specifically consistent weight, the background of the LCD screen will change colors, and a chime will sound to provide a visual and audio cues that weight is not optimal. It also has a hold function that freezes the display for 10 seconds, allowing you to accurately record measurements.
Raised Platform
The extra large platform provides ample space to hold a variety of items, and it has a raised lip to keep drips or spills from running down onto the scale. The unit will alert users of instability that can impact accuracy. After use, simply wipe down the platform or remove it for additional cleaning or scrubbing.
Automatic Shut-Off
This versatile scale can be powered with the included adapter or (2) AA batteries (sold separately). When used with the battery, an automatic shut-off mode will turn off the scale after 2 minutes of inactivity to preserve battery life.
