Safe Technology

This countertop range uses induction technology to generate heat with no open flame. This means less ambient heat in your kitchen, fast heat-up times, and most importantly no open flame or flammable fuels that could be a potential safety hazard. This unit includes a probe for probe core cooking, which allows you to cook or hold more delicate foods like stocks or sauces to a set temperature for improved control. As a result, it can prevent boil over, avoiding a mess or having to restart a dish. The power and the probe can be managed at once, and both will display on the screen at the same time.

Powerful and Efficient

The IC3500P boasts 3500W of cooking power, and you can cook using either a wattage-based "power level" mode, or adjust the temperature directly from 120 - 450 degrees Fahrenheit in 5 degree increments. It requires 208-204V of electrical power for operation.

Frequently Asked Questions From Customers

Can this induction range handle any pan capacity?
Most induction ranges do not have specified weight or pan capacities, but make sure to check the manual. The key to ensuring your range works properly and does not get damaged by too much weight is to use a pan with a bottom diameter that does not exceed the burner's diameter. Using a larger pan or pot, such as a stock pot, will lessen the effectiveness of the range and the quality of your food. Please note a warped or uneven bottom, a very dirty pan/pot bottom, or a chipped or cracked pot/pan might cause error codes.
No, while the unit will beep to let the user know the set time has expired, it will remain heating after the timer is up.
Do not install in areas where other equipment can exhaust directly into the induction range. All models require adequate unrestricted intake and exhaust air ventilation for proper operation of the controls. The maximum intake temperature must not exceed 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43 degrees Celsius). Temperatures are measured in ambient air while all appliances in the kitchen are in operation.
Yes, this is normal. This unit blinks to indicate a standby mode, signaling it is plugged in and ready for operation.
Countertop models require a minimum clearance of 3 inches (7.6 cm) at the rear and a minimum clearance under the induction range of a distance equal to the height of the feet of the Induction range. Some units draw air from below. It must not be placed on a soft surface that could restrict airflow to the bottom of the unit.
These induction ranges are designed for display cooking and other light-duty applications. They are not intended for use with large, heavy stock pots filled with water.
Printed manual updates are in progress. In the meantime, the manual on the webpage contains the most up-to-date information.
