This unit has a stainless steel exterior and painted aluminum interior with a type 304 stainless steel floor to make for outstanding durability and corrosion resistance even in busy kitchens.
Because of its undercounter design, this freezer effortlessly adds frozen storage space beneath the pre-existing countertop, and it doesn't require any additional space for its own footprint.
This freezer ensures optimal performance by operating with a 2/3 hp refrigeration system that circulates R-290 refrigerant to maintain temperatures from -8 to -1 degrees Fahrenheit. R-290 refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. The foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation helps provide structural rigidity and maintain internal temperatures.
Operation of the freezer is easy, thanks to its special features. Monitor temperatures by consulting the interior wall-mounted thermometer and use the auto-defrost feature on the pre-programmed digital controller to keep the freezer in excellent shape. Take advantage of the included casters and roll the unit aside to thoroughly clean the area. This undercounter freezer requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.

The Avantco AU-27F-HC 27" Undercounter Freezer is a great option for those who need extra frozen food storage space at a great price. It is a bit noisy, the door can be difficult to open and close and the the freezer does not have a light inside but it is very energy efficient and has a self-defrosting function. It is also very durable and compact, making it a great choice for small kitchens or businesses.
