Have broken 4 of these things in the last 3 weeks. Two of them the top separated from the bottom, and the other 2 got smashed by the avamix blender. This is a hazard and if unnoticed will lead to sharp plastic bits in the smoothies. Absolute liability and waste of money for my business.

Over time the plastic on the tamper wore down a bit so we ordered a replacement one which is identical to the original and works perfectly. Hoping it doesn't wear down as well.
