Frequently Asked Questions From Customers
Are beverageware and/or glassware capacities an exact liquid measurement?
Beverageware and glassware capacities are stated in ounces and are an approximate maximum capacity based off of an industry standard size. They are not to be used as a standard of measure for serving capacity.
Does tempered glassware still break?
All glassware has the possibility for potential breakage. When broken, tempered glass will break into smaller pieces that are less likely to cause injury, however all broken glass provides a risk for injury and should be treated with caution.
Is this item covered by warranty?
This item is covered by the Sure-Guard® Guarantee. If the rim of a tumbler, or the foot or rim of a piece of stemware, chips during normal use, Anchor Hocking Foodservice will replace the item or refund the purchase price when it is returned to the dealer or distributor. Please contact a Customer Solutions Specialist if you experience any issues with chipping.
What is tempered glassware?
Tempering is a heat treatment process where glass is heated and then cooled under high pressure air. This process produces glass that is many times stronger than typical annealed glass. To produce fully tempered glass, the entire piece of glassware goes through this process. To produce rim tempered glass, only the rim portion of the glassware piece is treated.

Customer Reviews
We have other Montana jars and purchased this to store dog food. Its airtight, so it keeps the food fresh and is also a very pretty jar. We leave it on the counter, and it's so much more attractive than plastic storage options or an unsightly bag of dog food. I would caution that this is a HUGE jar, so make sure you have space for it!
The twenty four case of Anchor Hocking twenty ounce Reality Cooler Glass is very impressive. The glass feels heavy from top to bottom. I have put them through the ringer and their durability is why I would highly recommend and would order again in the future.
We really like the anchor hocking reality cooler glasses. They are sturdy and bottom heavy. They look attractive. It seems that every other case we recieve of these has one glass that is a bit deformed along the rim. I try to hide the deformed ones so they dont get served to customers, but they somehow always make it back into rotation.
