The American Metalcraft TRV0535 1/2" x 3 3/4" Oval Silicone Trivet is perfect for sitting a hot pan or dish on when I don't have enough room on the stove. It works very well and is a great value.
These are smaller than I had pictured in my head but work perfect for the single serving cast iron oval dishes. I make oven baked Mac-n-cheese in the cast iron and the silicone trivets are excellent for meal service table side.

I originally bought these thinking they would be good as pot holders. That's not the case though, but they do come in handy when I need to put a hot pan or pot to the side without damaging my countertops in my rental. A couple of these are a must have.
Recently remodeled our kitchen and got granite counter tops. In order to protect them I decided to look for trivets. Love these and have not seen anything like them elsewhere. I just stack them in my pot holder drawer and toss on the counter before placing a hot item on them. Nice nice and they do a great job!!!
This is excellent as a trivet. It is not large enough to function as a pot holder. The silicone is firm and holds a dish in place very nicely as people scoop from it they don't slide all over. This is our go-to trivet for hot pots, pans and casserole dishes. Washes nicely in the dishwasher.
