Use this Shurtape AF 984 1.88" x 50 yards silver cold temperature foil / scrim / kraft tape to complete projects in your workspace. This UL 723-tested, HVAC contractor grade tape is ideal for sealing seams in scrim-reinforced duct insulation. Designed for long-term use, this tape has a great shelf life. It has a non-contaminating, siliconized, flat, white paper release liner to prevent the tape from sticking to itself. Its resistance to water vapor and smoke transmission makes this tape great for use in harsh settings.

This tape has a permanent bond, cold temperature, white, acrylic-based adhesive. With a thickness of 7.4 mil without the liner and 11.1 mil with the liner and a tensile strength of 34 lb. per inch of width, this tape offers durability while still being easy to cut and apply. It has a 64 oz. per inch of width of width adhesion to stainless steel and elongation of 3%. Plus, its wrinkle-free backing is constructed of aluminum foil, fiberglass scrim, and kraft paper to help prevent tearing. Suitable for use in environments with extreme temperature fluctuation, this tape has a service temperature range from -20 to 260 degrees Fahrenheit.
