This Zurn Elkay Z85500-XL-WM AquaSpec wall mount double pedal foot valve is great way to make your sink setup hands-free for better sanitation and less risk of germ transmission. Faucet handles are a prime location for germs to spread, since they're touched before and after the faucet is used, and they're touched by lots of people. This system takes faucet handles out of the equation by using a convenient and intuitive foot pedal to operate the water flow. The valve assembly mounts to the wall and connects to your facility's water lines using 1/2-14 NPT female inlets, while a 3/8-18 NPT outlet connects to other plumbing (sold separately) leading to the faucet. The valve is made from polished chrome-plated brass for a sleek look and superior durability, and the valve will self-close to prevent the water from being left on accidentally.
