Received 3 packs of pens as a gift, giving me the opportunity to compare the Uniball, Pilot G2 Gel roller, and the Zebra “z grip”.You can see in the photo that the Zebra and the Uniball come out looking about the same, with the Pilot writing the darkest.The photo showing a “blank” page is how the pens show up through the paper - only the darker Pilot is slightly visible.
As an artist and a life long writer and keeper of journals, I am always on the lookout for a good pen. These pens are truly awesome, especially for the price point. I only use these now to journal with and find that the grip is nice and flexible and doesn’t tire out my hand and the ink pigment is consistent through out. I have given one to each family member and have even tried sketching with them to great success. I will definitely be purchasing when these run out, although it seems like that will be a while.
