They can be used for contacting back-of-the-house, coordinating staff during events, or for quickly checking inventory, making them ideal for restaurants, construction sites, warehouses, and security staff. . For easy operation, these handy radios boast a simple push-to-talk button and volume controls. Plus, they have an eVOX system that is activated by sound, allowing for hands-free transmission. These radios boast 22 pre-programmed FRS channels for communication and they have a range of up to 20 miles.

The 38 privacy codes give you up to 836 channels options, allowing your employees to block out other conversations. These radios also include a monitor mode to help receive a weak signal, while the scan button quickly scans all channels for incoming transmissions. A roger beep tone can be activated to emit a beep when your transmission has finished. These radios also have an auto squelch mode to remove background noise and a silent operation mode to operate without any beeps and tones. It features a call alert to indicate an incoming call. To maintain the desired settings, these radios have a keypad lock to prevent any buttons from accidentally being pressed.

These radios include a NOAA weather function that provides local weather alerts / reports and allows you to scan all 10 channels of the NOAA weather radio. They operate using (3) AAA NiMH batteries or (3) AAA alkaline batteries (sold separately). They are equipped with a low battery alert icon to indicate when they need to be recharged, and they have battery level meters for easy tracking. They also feature high / low power settings, allowing you to conserve battery life. They each come complete with a belt clip for easy transport.
