Weston 65-0501-W Professional Advantage External Vacuum Packaging Machine with 11" Seal Bar - 120V

this item came after 1 1/2 months of waiting, finally got in touch with customer service who got in touch with the manufacturer and i guess lit a fire because it was delivered 3 weeks later. now after using appx 3 times it stopped working. I sent an email to the manufacturer a week ago with only a computer generated reply. I feel giving them 2 is too much but it did work exactly like i wanted then nothing. Now I'm not sure if I'm just out of luck and look for another????

I have had this unit for a year now and it has performed great, much better than any food saver product i have experienced. Its seals hold up very well in the freezer even with repeated jostling around of sealed items. it will wet seal so using it to marinate meats in a bag or freeze other wet food items such as wet fish is a breeze. It is not a commercial unit as a whole but it does have a commercial grade pump that is fan cooled and can be replaced if necessary.

Not commercial quality machine. Can only seal 6-8 bags before it over heats and cannot vacuum. Very hard to lock lid closed, female staff members could not lock. Buy elsewhere, you will be better served.

We have had this unit for about 2 years. We use it about once a month and seal somewhere around 6 or so bags at a time. It has worked as lt should without skipping a beat. I would strongly recommend this product for home use.
