This 2' step stool is Type IA rated with a maximum capacity of 300 lb. per side, making it ideal for one- or two-person jobs. Its double-sided design provides an average reach of 8' high, and it is made of durable, non-conductive fiberglass for use around electricity. External Pinch-Proof spreaders keep fingers from getting caught or crushed when folding or unfolding the stool. The slip-resistant Traction-Tred steps maximize grip to prevent falls and are both double-riveted and knee-braced.This stool's top steps provide a wide, comfortable standing platform.
This stool includes EDGE molded bracing and foot pads for enhanced strength and protection against damage. The heavy-duty internal spreaders lock the ladder open and prevent twisting during use. It also features molded end caps to finish off the rails and a heavy-gauge steel strap hinge. The removable HolsterTop cap has a paint and tool holder. Whem removed, the top can fit a plank for use as scaffolding. This stool is OSHA compliant and ANSI A14.5-2007 rated. The maximum load should not exceed the overall 300 lb. duty rating.
