Watts 0009478 Details
This Watts 3/4" water pressure reducing valve is designed to be used for pressure protection for your plumbing system components and reduce water consumption. This valve has a 3/4" NPT threaded union inlet and FNPT female outlet, and it features a copper silicon alloy valve body. It's a direct replacement for the one that came with select equipment, and it's used to replace a worn or broken part in order to relieve below-the-maximum working pressure. It's also quick and easy to install without removing the valve from the line.
This valve has a thermoplastic seat module and an integral stainless steel strainer to stop debris. It features a thermoplastic sealed spring cage for accessible outdoor or pit installations. Plus, the bypass feature controls thermal expansion pressure, allowing the flow of water back through the valve into the main when pressures exceed the pressure in the main supply. It has an adjustable reduced pressure range of 25 to 75 PSI with a standard reduced pressure setting of 50 PSI and a maximum working pressure of 400 PSI. Additionally, this valve has a reinforced EPDM diaphragm and a temperature range of 33 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
