This IPG Central 240 natural kraft reinforced water-activated tape is perfect for ensuring a secure top and bottom seal on corrugated cartons. It features a durable kraft paper construction that is reinforced 3 ways with fiberglass to offer superior strength and reliability. When used in conjunction with a water-activated tape sealer (sold separately), this tape bonds with the surface fibers of corrugated material to create a stronger seal than conventional plastic tapes.

This tape has an MD tensile strength of 74 lb. per inch of width and a CD tensile strength of 26 lb. per inch of width. It has a thickness of 6.3 mil and it is recommended for cartons up to 30 lb., making it a great choice for light- to medium-duty applications. It works great on cartons made of recycled material and is also perfect for non-unitized cartons. It is recommended to store this tape in a clean, dry place with a temperature of 64-76 degrees Fahrenheit and 40-50% relative humidity. When stored properly, converted rolls have an expected shelf life of up to 2 years from the date of shipment. It is recommended that rolls be converted within 6 months of the date of shipment.
