Details

Discover new ways to upscale your menu with these canoe-cut split femur beef marrow bones. Bone marrow has an intensely rich, beefy flavor that is traditionally roasted to a soft, spreadable texture. Spread atop toasted sourdough French bread rounds or garlic crostini for a decadent treat, or use to create a compound butter to elevate your rib-eye steak with incredibly savory flavor. You can even use these bones to prepare delicious beef stock or bone broth with tomato paste, celery, carrots, and onions, to serve as a hearty base to a variety of soups and stews. With bone marrow being known to boost the immune system, improve digestion, and support joint health due to high collagen levels, these beef marrow bones provide a perfect way to add a variety of healthful, and profitable, culinary creations to your menu.

Coming from the femur of cows, the bones are center cut to provide uniform portions that expose the marrow, making it easy to roast in the bone or extract prior to cooking. Each case also comes with 24-28 pieces on average, which weigh about .75 lb. each and are approximately 4" to 5" in length. Minimally processed, these bones come ready to thaw, season to your liking, and roast. To roast, preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and roast the bones marrow-side up until it softens and begins to pull away from the bone.

Canoe-Cut Split

Order arrived at near room temperature due to insufficient dry ice being used for the shipment. Of what was received, one third of the bones were not canoe cut, and one third of which were too small to be used for roasting purposes. Of the good bones received, at least three of which look like they were stomped on by a boot. I'm not even sure if these are going to be safe to eat. Very disappointed with what I received.
