Vollrath FC-HCF-02120-AD Details
Change from a cold salad bar to a hot dinner buffet with this Vollrath drop-in hot / cold / freeze food well! With the flip of a switch, this food well can toggle between its 625W heating system or 1/4 hp refrigeration system with eco-friendly R-290 refrigerant to best suit your hot, cold, or frozen food holding needs. Each well is surrounded by refrigeration coils for optimal cooling and high-density polyurethane foam insulation to help you save energy. The 2" stepped cold wall recess near the top of each well helps maintain a cold air blanket around your cold foods. Plus, the R-290 refrigerant is a low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant so your wells are safer and more eco-conscious. For fast heating, the bottom of each well has a 625W rope heater attached. Thermostatic controls let you alter the heat output to the perfect hot holding temperature.
This unit is made for use with full-size and fractional pans up to 6" deep. For long-lasting durability, this model features an 18-gauge galvanized steel exterior housing and 18-gauge, 300-series stainless steel wells and top flange. A stainless steel control panel provides individual controls and a power light for each well. The convenient power light will shine blue when cold and red when hot so you can quickly double check the status of your wells. The user interface also includes a 4' connection for versatile mounting.
The automatic, standard 3/4" integral drain has flexible manifold tubing that siphons runoff and condensation while a full-perimeter drip edge prevents liquid from flowing out onto your countertops. Plus, the included standard mounting clips allow for installation on counters up to 3" thick. The innovative Vollrath hot /cold / freeze food well is designed for simplified serviceability and is a perfect addition to any restaurant, cafeteria, or buffet! This unit includes a 6' power cord and requires a 120V electrical connection for operation.
