The top shelf is 7 1/2" deep, and the bottom shelf is 12 1/4" deep, providing you with plenty of space to show off your products. This unit's controller also allows you to easily adjust the thermostat, and this case boasts a temperature range between 32-46 degrees Fahrenheit. A self-contained refrigeration system allows for both auto and manual defrost options and utilizes R-290 refrigerant. The defrost process is fast, finishing in only 3 hours and 10 minutes, while its powerful 1/4 hp motor and dual fans circulate air to ensure consistent, reliable temperature control throughout the case. The rear sliding doors allow for easy cleaning and display changes. Better yet, this unit can also be used as an ambient display case. This display case requires a 120V electrical connection.     I love how cold the case stays. We display cheesecakes and parfaits. I have tried to display ice cream cupcakes and ice cream cakes but they always melt. The temperature at its coldest is 32 degrees. The glass smudges extremely easy and the case is hard to clean. The bottom is screwed down to the base of the case at two points towards the front. It allows you to hold up the bottom with one hand and wipe down the very bottom of the case with the other. The only issue I have with the case itself is the unsightly white clay they put around the electrical cord. You can see it from the front where customers look.
