Promote Comfort and Security with Tampax Feminine Hygiene Products

Now owned by Proctor and Gamble, the original Tampax tampon was patented and trademarked by Earl Haas in 1931. Gertrude Tendrich purchased the patent and used the name Tampax to form her company and begin mass production. By the 1950s, Tampax feminine hygiene products were growing in popularity and the company expanded its production facilities to keep up with demand.
