Since 1914, Mother's has offered readymade snacks that taste like they came from your mother’s kitchen. The brand began when newspaper stand operator, Noah Wheatley, purchased the rights to a customer’s cookie recipe. Both business and romance grew when he hired a young woman named Leopoldine to help him. Together, Noah and Leopoldine turned Mother's into the household brand consumers know and love today, eventually passing the business on to their son.
