Harvest Pride bakery products are produced by the H&S Bakery, a company whose roots go back to the partnership of two immigrant families in 1943. Harry Tsakalos and Steve Paterakis opened their first bakery in Baltimore and named it H&S, for Harry and Steve. In 1962 the bakery experienced rapid growth and began to produce bread for the foodservice industry.
